Online Stores Every Man Should Know

Posted on 29 October 2013

Quick introduction into the best online stores for real man. Since I moved to London I always through, men's fashion is strong and well developed. Sadly only know I start seeing young boys trying to look more like their grandpas and not wearing loose goose track suit and trainers. I'm so pleased to see this change! Here is a little inspiration where you could find timeless fashion iteams.

Drake's. The Drake's style, beginning with a refined English discrimination, had evolved with a touch of consummate French chic and a nod to the Italians for their abundant sense of style and colour. This aesthetic represents a vision of how English style is perceived to be, rather than the reality which today is all too often less inspiring.
Drake's ties, bow ties and pocket scarves are items, which should excited real fashion men the most. The range of them is unbelieved wade! Check accessories as well like cufflinks, braces, umbrellas and all the leather goods. Drake's doesn't sell cheap items, but purchasing small goods you'll have them forever.

Mr. Porter. Another one non-cheap but chic men's online store, which includes designers like J.Crew, Burberry, Givenchy, Alexandre McQueen, Lanvin, Paul Smith but most excitingly Mr. Porter has New Designers section as well. But this online store in not all about "come and buy stuff" it has amazing sections to make men aware of trends, timeless colour and shape combinations and essentials. Just browse around their online store and I guarantee you'll get inspired.

Matches Fashion. Online store includes men and women clothing, but this time we are dealing with gents fashion. Again like Mr. Porter Matches has a lot of world-class designers like Valentino, Balmain, Kenzo, Lanvin, Saint Laurent and Tod's. Even the style of website is extremely alike to Mr. Porter's. What I found really great about Matches Fashion it's how it let me to explore different style of items and pick the most suit-full. Let say man is looking for coat, once he clicks on Coat Room it gives 8 different styles of it to choose from.
Shop online here.
That is all from me today and I just wan to say one last thing - all of these three online store are not for your purchases (only wealthy man could let himself to afford these goodness, but remember to get inspiration from it and be playful wearing small pieces of goodness and the rest of it could be high street fashion items).

Promotion Student Life

Posted on 15 October 2013

Every time I pop out sentence about my promotion studies it follows with question: "Oh, what is that? What do you do?"
Let me tell you what means to study Fashion Promotion for me and how amazing it actually is. Promoting and most importantly understanding what you're promoting is crucial, you always have to be aware of things that going to happen in future, you basically predicting future of fashion based on consumers and industry people bahavior. This course gave me better understanding about way are you actually want that pair of shoes and not other one, sometimes I think it's becoming more like psychology lessons, not fashion. Every day I can check what is going to be new not next month, season, not even an year - I can check what is about to come in 3 years time from today. What colour is going to be the IT one and how badly sixteen years old fashionistas will fall for it. Promotion studies gives me knowledge of what Zara, Massimo Dutti, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Prada or Mango is going to have as their Autumn/Winter 14/15 collections. Let me show you some examples of research and inspiration points to see how I work. This is your 2015 summer wardrobe ideas, divas:)

But the most exciting part of all this course is to be able to create your own magazine. Imagine, 2 months intensive work with your colleagues and after that you're actually holding hard piece of YOUR OWN CREATED magazine. I cried a little...
At the moment we all again have exciting project to do. I become Creative Director of magazine main photo-shoot. DIRECTOR... Oh, I want to cry again haft of it happiness tears, other haft - stress. What it means is going to model agencies, writing them and hopping to get high standard models. Same with make-up artist, hair stylist and wardrobe styling professionals. All of this comes together to one big final moment - photo-shoot to Juicebox magazine.
I have never been happier in my whole life and stressed but is all worth it. Let me tell you something you already know, London is know as diversity city full of everything - high end fashion labels and designers, new generation of creative people from all the best fashion universities in the world, heritage like know other country have and people from all over the world. That why our shoot is going to represent people of London.

Sometimes I think that people from other Europe countries will think "Why do you even bother to take photos of those weird people?" I'm bother because I believe that right promotion, marketing, understanding of consumer needs is important and people finally should see the beauty everywhere - any shape, any colour, any texture, any pattern, any race, any continent, any individual.
This is what this island gave me - understanding.
And here is the link to our first magazine issue so far.

Fall Inspiration

Posted on 29 August 2013

Fall is already here and I would like to pinch some on my own ideas for fall/winter fashion.
Most of you already know, this blog is not all about what-to-wear-to-look-cool, this is not my thing I pretty much never know what to wear for special events or dinners. But what I most defiantly sure about is when I see colours/shapes/patterns, which attracted my attention, I know I will look for something similar in stores to purchase.
Here are some moodboards that inspired me and I hope it will inspire you too.

J.Crew at Regent's St.

Posted on 3 July 2013

Looks like J.Crew really loves London and the reason is - Regent's street store 1st outside the North America!
Maybe I don't look like a girl, who would ware this type of clothing but I still think J.Crew is amazing when it comes to casual luxury and comfortably of the clothing. This brand is very preppy, crisp, graphic and clean - like upgraded version of GAP and what makes this brand unique and loveable is the simplicity of how stripy jumper, wood baseball cap, ankle boots and boyfriend jeans could look amazingly fashionable too. Sounds like a plan for autumn to me. Right now take a peak to the latest J.Crew looks for autumn/winter and just try to make something out of it. Why only high heels and leather leggings (ew ew ew , and one more time ew for them) seems to be one-way fashion?

Let go back to London store at Regent's Street which is planning to open in October 2013. And, oh boy, J.Crew really pushed themselves to this first store outside North America. Looks like this is one of the reasons why Conduit and very end of Regent's streets are become shopping meccas of London.

Can't wait for this store to be opened! Take at look yourself too, you might find something that will inspire you to look in fashion as more affordable and comfortable way.
